The Daily Star: Website Redesign
The Daily Star is a complex news website which has a very large amount of content turnaround. Designing the CMS, user journey, registration process and then creating the user interface was a big project for me. The project took around six months before development of the site started.
Some criteria were:
- A mobile-first design
- increase amount of images
- improve the way videos can be viewed
- better social media integration
- create a new registration/login process
- better commercial advertsing potential
- integrate newer types of rich media advertising
